Job summary

Team Velocity is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst II to join our Web Analytics Team. You will bridge tactical execution and strategic insight, supporting marketing, web, and product teams by analyzing performance, implementing tracking strategies, and identifying trends that drive decisions.

You will report to the Director of Analytics and collaborate with a junior analyst; experience with automotive or marketing agencies is highly preferred, and this is a remote role within the Continental US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Mathematics/Statistics/Business or related field.
• 3 years of experience in web marketing or product analytics.
• Proficient with GA, Looker Studio, Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with SQL and Excel/Sheets.
• Familiar with AB testing methodologies.
• Tag management experience (GTM) required.
• Strong communication across technical & non-technical audiences.
• Bonus: HTML/CSS/JS/Python/Apps Script knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
• Build and iterate dashboards to monitor KPIs for stakeholders.
• Analyze user behavior and marketing channel performance.
• Assist in troubleshooting tracking and data collection issues.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives for product and marketing decisions.
• Lead AB test planning, execution and post-test analysis.
• Monitor performance metrics and set up anomaly alerts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate goals into measurement plans.
• Mentor junior analysts on tools, best practices and analytical approaches.
