Job summary

The Helmsman Group LLC is seeking a Data Analyst — Marketing Analytics to analyze marketing, customer, campaign, and sales data to measure marketing performance and support data-driven decision-making.

You will develop reports and dashboards, evaluate campaign effectiveness, analyze customer behavior, and provide actionable insights to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in marketing analytics or data analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with marketing/customer datasets.
• Experience with marketing analytics and reporting tools.
• Proficiency with Excel and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Understanding of marketing metrics, funnels, conversion analysis, and campaign measurement.
• Experience with data cleaning, validation, transformation, and analysis.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret marketing and customer data from multiple sources.
• Analyze marketing campaign performance across channels and campaigns.
• Develop and maintain marketing dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
