Job summary

LOOP is seeking a Marketing Analytics Analyst to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth. You will build dashboards, evaluate marketing performance, and partner with Finance, BI, Product, and Experience teams.

Strong quantitative skills and clear communication are essential. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in a quantitative field and 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics or data analysis, with proficiency in Power BI

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Statistical Analysis, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in quantitative analysis, data analysis, marketing analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and marketing measurement methodologies.
  • Experience with testing methodologies such as test vs. control, A/B testing, and multivariate analysis.
  • Knowledge of regression, cluster analysis, break-even analysis, forecasting, and other quantitative techniques.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, with strong Excel capabilities preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI and/or other data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, development, monitoring, and maintenance of KPI metrics, reporting, visualizations, and dashboards to support key business decisions and organizational objectives.
  • Analyze internal and external datasets to identify opportunities related to customer acquisition, retention, marketing performance, and business growth.
  • Develop and evaluate hypotheses using data to identify trends, understand performance drivers, and help predict future outcomes.
  • Conduct customer and market research to develop insights into customer needs, behaviors, and broader market trends.
  • Combine quantitative and qualitative findings to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Identify and investigate data quality issues related to marketing data and metrics.
  • Partner with data quality, engineering, and governance teams to implement solutions and elevate issues as appropriate.
  • Support financial planning and budgeting by translating financial goals into measurable success metrics and targets.
  • Develop recommendations for new metrics, analytical techniques, and approaches to improve marketing effectiveness, acquisition, and retention.
  • Analyze competitor marketing activity and incorporate relevant consumer and market insights into analytical recommendations.
  • Communicate analytical findings, business insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Apply strong data storytelling skills to translate complex analysis into clear and actionable business recommendations.
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Business Intelligence, Product, Collections, Customer Experience, and Credit Risk teams.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency, ROI, and overall business performance.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

My client is seeking a curious and analytical Marketing Analytics Analyst to join their Strategy & Analytics team and play a key role in using data to drive marketing strategy, customer acquisition, retention, and business growth. This individual will analyze complex datasets, develop quantitative insights, build reporting and dashboards, evaluate marketing performance, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
