Placements24 is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes for mechanical components. This fully remote role lets you contribute from anywhere in the United States while driving efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.

Analyze processes, develop new techniques, create SOPs, and collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability. You will troubleshoot issues and guide remote equipment implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with focus on mechanical production.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, injection molding, and assembly processes.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD for design review and process layout.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes to identify efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
• Develop and implement new manufacturing techniques for mechanical components.
• Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Oversee implementation of new equipment and process modifications, often with remote oversight.
