Placements24 is seeking a highly qualified Remote Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to drive process optimization and innovation. This fully remote role offers flexibility to work from anywhere while shaping our client’s advanced manufacturing operations.

You will analyze SMT, PCB assembly and testing processes, develop data-driven improvements, document SOPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to reduce costs and improve product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing; strong focus on process engineering and optimization.
Experience with SMT, through-hole, PCB fabrication, testing methods; data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Analyze current electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, PCB assembly, testing) for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Identify improvements and develop solutions for process optimization and automation.
Design, document, and implement new manufacturing processes and workflows.
Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and production teams remotely for smooth technology transfer and scale-up.
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield.
