Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, Inventor or similar.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve mechanical components, systems, and products.
  • Create and maintain drawings, models, specifications, and documentation.
  • Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and design evaluations.
  • Use CAD software to develop and modify designs.

  • Participate in projects from concept through implementation.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, analysis, and improvement of mechanical systems and products. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working on engineering projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Work Authorization & Sponsorship:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and improve mechanical components, systems, and products
  • Create and maintain engineering drawings, models, specifications, and documentation
  • Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and design evaluations
  • Use CAD software to develop and modify mechanical designs
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams
  • Evaluate materials, components, and manufacturing processes
  • Identify design issues and develop practical engineering solutions
  • Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product improvements
  • Review technical documentation and ensure designs meet applicable requirements
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and manufacturing issues
  • Participate in engineering projects from concept through implementation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, Inventor, or similar platforms
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple engineering projects
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with mechanical product design or development
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability
  • Experience with GD&T
  • Experience with FEA or other engineering analysis tools
  • Experience with prototyping, testing, or product validation
  • Familiarity with industry standards and engineering specifications
