Job summary

Corporate Energy Buyers Association is seeking a strategic Manager to shape state and regional policy efforts in the Western U.S. This remote role reports to the Director of Western Policy and focuses on advancing clean energy deployment and decarbonization across Western electricity markets.

You will manage cross-functional policy programs, coordinate with external partners, and support funding development to implement CEBA’s long-term impact in the West.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in energy, policy, or utilities.
• Minimum 1 year experience in clean energy policy.
• Strong ability to analyze complex issues and communicate recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape Western strategy to expand options for energy buyers to procure carbon-free electricity in the West.
• Oversee the execution of assigned programmatic priorities with measurable outcomes.
• Develop thought leadership materials, including white papers, reports, and policy briefs.
• Lead and manage projects with budgeting and execution; supervise consultants and external partners.
• Engage with policymakers, regulators, and CEBA members to advocate CEBA positions.
