Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of related work experience with staff management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field; or six years’ related experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and high customer expectations.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with project planning and management.
• Experience leading technical staff.
• Knowledge of structured systems analysis and design, data gathering, and MIS.
• Knowledge of programming or job control languages.
• Knowledge of structured programming techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLCs.

Responsibilities

• Overall accountability for IT-related aspects of a defined portfolio of applications.
• Governance and oversight of the enterprise software development lifecycle.
• Act as IT Product Owner, driving platform currency and remediation.
• Support backlog reviews with executives, sponsors, and users to clarify intent.
• Improve process efficiency and output within the department.
• Oversee production support, change management, incident management, and on-call scheduling.
• Lead or sponsor corporate strategic projects with budget, schedule, and quality goals.
• Manage multiple priorities across projects, maintenance, and production support.
• Vendor relations for third-party software platforms within the portfolio.
• Foster continuous improvement with metrics, standards, and governance controls.
