Job summary

Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance across the property. The technician will manage inventory, support grounds maintenance, and assist with various projects as directed by the supervisor, with on-site living potentially required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• May be required to live on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the property per work orders.
• Assist with apartment turnover procedures.
• Inspect grounds, building systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances and major equipment.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment and supplies.
