Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of our properties in Louisiana. You will perform daily repairs, prepare vacant units for occupancy, and manage tools and supplies in a safe, organized manner.

This role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, the ability to follow written and oral instructions, and prior property maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance/handyman tasks.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions.
• Able to work on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property and prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain and inventory supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand and maintain a secure maintenance area.
• Report unusual circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Respond to service requests with 24-hour availability when required.
