Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Mainframe CICS Systems Programmer for a remote US-based role. The ideal candidate will oversee CICS environments, implement upgrades, and provide 2nd/3rd line support to development teams in a high-availability IBM mainframe setting.

Candidates should have 8+ years of CICS experience, familiarity with CICS TS, SMP/E, and RACF, and be able to work across multiple products and technologies in a dynamic environment. Buffalo area preferred but remote work is possible.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in CICS system programming or as a technical specialist.
• Familiarity with CICS TS 4.2/5.3, SMP/E, Omegamon/CICS, ACF2 & RACF.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain CICS environments.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support for CICS-based applications.
• Lead problem investigations and recover from outages.
• Plan, test and deploy CICS software upgrades.
• Ensure data security, backups and recovery procedures.
