Job summary

CTG is seeking an experienced mainframe automation specialist to support z/OS operations and drive automation initiatives. You will design and troubleshoot automation using IBM NetView and Tivoli System Automation for z/OS, participate in migration projects, and help ensure system availability and resiliency across IBM Z environments.

The role requires 5+ years in a mainframe setting, strong scripting in REXX, and hands-on experience with TSO/ISPF, JCL, and PDB management.

Qualifications

5+ years in a mainframe operations environment with hands-on NetView and System Automation experience.
Experience implementing z/OS automation projects and migrations.
Proficient in TSO, ISPF, JCL, and REXX with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Support mainframe automation initiatives in a z/OS environment including operation support and service delivery.
Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot automation using IBM NetView and System Automation for z/OS.
Participate in z/OS Automation Migration Projects and related migration activities.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot REXX scripts and PDB definitions.
Configure automated z/OS startup, shutdown, recovery, and operational processes.
Troubleshoot automation-related incidents and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
