Qualifications

• Technical four-year degree, but experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• 5+ years in field service or installation roles, with advanced experience in: Machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Basler, Matrox, Teledyne/FLIR).
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Problem-solving and decision making.
• Proactivity and self-direction.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Travel may be required for company events, training, and customer visits.

Responsibilities

• System Installation & Integration: Lead installation, setup, and configuration of advanced systems such as machine vision tunnels, RFID systems, conveyors, and robotics.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on installation best practices, system calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Customer Engagement: Act as the primary technical contact during installations, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service.
• Documentation & Compliance: Develop and maintain installation guides, wiring diagrams, and calibration reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (Lockout-Tagout, Hazmat, Industrial Safety).
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during and after installation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and create detailed service reports.
