Job summary

Cognex Corporation is seeking a field sales professional to drive revenue in the assigned territory. You will meet customers at their sites to demonstrate Cognex vision products, review applications, and tailor technical solutions to meet manufacturing needs.

Responsibilities include hunting new opportunities, visiting multiple accounts daily, updating the CRM with progress, supporting trade shows and events, and coordinating product introductions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical sales experience (machine vision preferred).
• Four-year college degree from a reputable university.
• STEM/Engineering major preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to visit multiple customer accounts in a single day using one's own means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Meet defined sales quotas for the assigned territory.
• Perform customer visits, new customer acquisition, and introduce new products.
• Prospect opportunities via cold and warm leads and schedule site visits to secure POs.
• Travel to customer facilities to demonstrate Cognex products and provide technical solutions.
• Update CRM with project details and capture competitive information.
• Support trade shows and marketing events to generate leads.
• Generate leads for other Cognex teams by identifying complex vision applications.
