Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a M365 Global Administrator to support our government customers. The role is fully remote within the United States and requires an active HUD Public Trust clearance. You will maintain and secure Microsoft 365 environments, coordinate with multiple teams, and implement system upgrades and automation tasks.

The position demands extensive IT/systems administration experience and the ability to support networked and stand-alone configurations in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of IT/ systems administrator experience.
• Active HUD Public Trust clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years (or commensurate experience).

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains smooth operation of computer systems in networked or stand-alone configurations.
• Maintains system integrity and upgrades systems/servers as required.
• Consults with support teams and customers to resolve problems and coordinates maintenance activities.
• Plans transitions to new technologies and monitors system performance.
• Writes or modifies basic scripts to automate administration tasks.
• Recommends changes to improve systems and network configurations and determine hardware/software needs.
