Coinbase is seeking an M&A and Accounting Policy Manager to lead the financial due diligence process and own purchase accounting across acquisitions. You will shape accounting policies, draft memos, and deliver regulatory disclosures in cross‑functional collaboration with Legal, Tax, FP&A, and Controllership.

The role reports to the Director of Reporting and Technical Accounting Policy and supports new product launches.

Formación

• 9+ years of progressive accounting experience with Big 4 background and industry exposure; CPA required.
• Breath and depth of US GAAP knowledge, including ASC 805, ASC 321, ASC 323, ASC 810.
• Proven experience leading financial due diligence across live deal processes.
• Track record managing external consultants across M&A workstreams and delivering quality outputs.
• Proven ability to draft technical accounting memos and disclosures for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Uses generative AI with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial due diligence on target companies, including QoE analyses and risk identification.
• Own end-to-end purchase accounting under ASC 805, including PPA and goodwill.
• Drive accounting treatment for strategic investments under ASC 321, ASC 323, ASC 810.
• Shape Coinbase's accounting policies through technical memos on new products.
• Deliver footnote disclosures and SOX-conscious disclosures for 10-Q/10-K filings.
• Partner with Product, Legal, Tax, FP&A, Controllership, and Corporate Development for new product launches and complex transactions.
