Job summary

Genworth seeks a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Actuarial Model Governance and Controllership team, focusing on governance of LTC models, data flows, and controls to ensure compliance with standards.

The role involves valuation, projections, experience analysis, and peer reviews, collaborating with operations and IT. A BS/BA in math/stat/actuarial science/business, ASA/FSA designation, and 5+ years LTC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, and/or related major.
• FSA designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably LTC insurance.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of actuarial processes: valuation, projections, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and make improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for the development and enhancement of LTC actuarial models and processes.
