Job summary

LoanCare is seeking a Loss Mitigation Manager to lead and oversee a large, complex loss mitigation pipeline, ensuring borrower assistance, regulatory compliance, and timely outcomes. The role acts as a subject matter expert across all Loss Mitigation programs and solutions.

The position requires 7+ years in mortgage servicing with 5+ years in leadership, plus advanced knowledge of underwriting, closing, and investor programs.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage an assigned Loss Mitigation function, including Underwriting or Closing.
• Demonstrated expertise in loss mitigation underwriting, closing, or execution functions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of investor and insurer programs (FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, proprietary products).
• Strong regulatory and compliance understanding and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an assigned Loss Mitigation function, including Underwriting or Closing.
• Ensure achievement of productivity, quality, cycle time, and service level expectations.
• Monitor pipeline performance and address process bottlenecks to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage escalated borrower, client, investor, and operational issues.
