Job summary

Cornerstone Servicing, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, is seeking a Loss Mitigation Operations Supervisor to lead a team handling intake, underwriting, closing, and post-closing in a high-volume environment. This onsite role is based in Houston, TX or Englewood, CO.

The candidate will manage daily loss mitigation duties, ensure RESPA compliance, monitor SLAs, and drive process improvements while mentoring staff and coordinating with offshore operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in Loss Mitigation underwriting and operations.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae loss mitigation requirements.
• Experience with MSP and LMS systems; familiarity with MERS document requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily loss mitigation duties using the loss mitigation pipeline report.
• Ensure compliance with RESPA regulations including timely acknowledgments and underwriting decisions.
• Monitor internal and client SLAs.
• Analyze daily reports to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Oversee the loss mitigation quality control process and provide actionable feedback.
• Conduct regular 1-on-1s with direct reports.
• Stay updated on investor, client, and product changes and train team members.
• Assist with departmental audits and requests from internal and external sources.
