Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loss Mitigation Supervisor to oversee daily loss mitigation activities, manage a team, and ensure timely, compliant reviews. The role emphasizes coaching, audits, and inter-department collaboration to support FHA/other insured loan workouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field preferred with seven+ years mortgage default, loss mitigation and short sale experience; two+ years in supervisory role.
• Expert knowledge of conventional and government mortgage loan documents and related regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with document retention software; 10-key by touch preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor metrics and maximize productivity, investor compliance and service levels.
• Hire, train, coach, discipline and exit team members.
• Perform quality control and audit reviews on loans for compliance with standards.
• Provide coaching on FHA insured loan workouts and underwriting modifications.
• Review denied cases and research feasible alternatives.
• Analyze escalated accounts for compliance and modification guidelines.
• Participate in calls with clients/homeowners; discuss loss mitigation topics.
