Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in insurance, banking, finance, mortgage servicing or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of claims handling and claims practices.
• General knowledge of insurance theory and practices, contracts and their application.
• Familiarity with property estimating systems and claims documentation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform loss draft and property damage requirements including processing checks, documents, inspections, and loss drafts queue.
• Review adjuster worksheets for depreciation and determine action on repairs.
• Evaluate claim packages and inspection reports to determine draw eligibility.
• Assess claim classification to reduce risk or loss.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutes and regulations.
