Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. seeks an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections and prepare underwriting reports for property, general liability, inland marine, and related lines.

You will visit insured sites to observe facilities, photograph, measure, and document observations for underwriting decisions. Work is conducted from a home office with a PC and reliable internet; some overnight travel may be required as you coordinate with insureds and field

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control providers or major insurance carriers.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance lines: Property, General Liability, Inland Marine.
• Ability to identify building construction types and ISO classes.
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes.
• Solid communication and time management skills.
• Exceptional writing ability, organizational skills and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations with measurements and photos per carrier requirements.
• Identify building and roof construction type, square footage, potential hazards.
• Timely completion of assignments/reports according to due dates.
• Communicate regularly with Field Manager to complete inspections efficiently.
• Coordinate inspection times with insured representatives onsite.
• Prepare and report inspection results, uploading photos and diagrams.
• Drive to and from insured locations; overnight travel may be required.
