Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. is seeking an Insurance Loss Control Consultant to conduct commercial loss control inspections across the coverage territory. You will record observations, take photos, and assess building construction and exposures to support underwriting.

The role supports work-from-home arrangements with an automobile and valid license; occasional overnight travel may be required as you inspect insured facilities and compile underwriting reports for submission via our website.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control Service Providers or major insurers.
Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance lines — Property, General Liability and Inland Marine.
Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes.
Broad understanding of NFPA codes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; good time management.
Excellent writing abilities and organizational skills; capable with computers.
Ability to work from home with a PC, high‑speed Internet and a cell phone.
Must have automobile and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet.
Digital camera or smartphone for photos.
Use measuring wheel or similar tools and a camera pole.

Responsibilities

Record onsite observations, take measurements and photos per carrier requirements.
Identify building and roof construction type, size and hazards.
Complete assignments and reports by due dates.
Communicate with Field Manager to optimize inspections.
Coordinate inspection meetings with insured onsite representatives.
Prepare and report inspection results, upload photos and diagrams.
Travel to insured locations; some overnight travel may be required.
