Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. is seeking an Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections and complete underwriting reports. Duties include identifying hazards, observing operations, taking measurements, and documenting findings online for carriers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of loss control experience, knowledge of Property, General Liability, Inland Marine, and NFPA codes. Ability to travel to insured locations and work remotely with a PC and internet is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in loss control or with major insurance carriers
• Knowledge of commercial insurance lines: Property, General Liability, Inland Marine
• Understanding of NFPA codes and building construction types
• Ability to work from home with reliable internet and PC
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, measurements and photos per carrier rules
• Identify building construction type, square footage and hazards
• Complete assignments and reports by due dates
• Coordinate with Field Manager to schedule inspections
• Direct insured representatives to inspection locations and times
• Upload inspection results, photos, and diagrams
• Travel to insured locations, possibly overnight
