Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience (or 6–8 years).
• Experience in secondary marketing, lock desk operations, mortgage pricing, or related consumer lending functions.
• Working knowledge of mortgage rate locks and pricing adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Process rate lock requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pricing guidelines and investor requirements.
• Verify loan pricing, lock terms, and system data for program alignment.
• Assist in resolving lock or pricing discrepancies by analyzing data and coordinating with partners.
• Monitor lock expirations, extensions, and changes; ensure timely updates.
• Communicate lock confirmations, pricing details, and status to Loan Officers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all lock desk activities.
• Support daily pricing updates, importing and validating rate sheets/pricing feeds.
• Identify recurring issues and escalate trends to leadership.
• Provide guidance to entry-level team members on lock desk processes.
• Contribute to a collaborative, service-focused environment in Secondary Marketing.
