Job summary
The Fountain Group is seeking an experienced Localization Manager for a fully remote role (PST hours) in the United States. Lead an enterprise translation program spanning Commercial, Medical, and Government Affairs within a pharmaceutical environment.
Own end‑to‑end localization, vendor management, QA, budgeting, and automation initiatives. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in localization, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in linguistics or localization.
- Experience leading enterprise localization programs and teams.
- Strong understanding of workflows, QA, and global content processes.
- Experience with translation management systems and localization tech.
Responsibilities
- Own the localization lifecycle from intake to delivery and quality control.
- Manage multilingual content across digital, print, web, and campaigns.
- Monitor vendor performance, SLAs, and quality; drive improvement.
- Develop documentation, best practices, and SOPs for localization.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Legal/Regulatory teams.
- Support budgeting, KPIs, and program governance.
