Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking an Associate Sales Specialist, Local Government for a remote US-based role. You will own outbound prospecting into county and city agencies, build pipeline, and drive revenue with support from a world-class sales organization.

Responsibilities include meeting territory quotas, engaging local government buyers such as sheriffs and IT directors, and leveraging Thomson Reuters solutions like CLEAR to help public safety and investigations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales, business development, or inside sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Government, public safety, or SaaS experience is a plus
• Interest in local government procurement processes and local government structures

Responsibilities

• Generate pipeline and revenue within defined geography through outbound prospecting
• Own and exceed territory quota and targets, aiming for 100%+ of YTD goals
• Inbound/outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social channels to local government decision-makers
• Collaborate with Account Executives on local government pursuits to advance deals
• Build relationships with county and municipal agencies, law enforcement and public safety organizations to match Thomson Reuters solutions to needs
