Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Load Management Solutions Leader to champion the Smart Grid portfolio within the Utility Digital Solutions organization. This remote role supports utilities across NM, ID, AZ, CO, NV, and UT with up to 50% travel in the Western region.

The role blends strategic vision with customer engagement to accelerate grid modernization, improve reliability, and drive digital transformation in partnership with utility leaders and Eaton teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in engineering, product marketing, operations or product sales in electrical industry.
• U.S. work authorization with no sponsorship planned.
• Residency in NM, ID, AZ, CO, NV, or UT due to regional travel expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to help assigned customers maximize value from the system to meet Demand Response goals.
• Lead load management engagement with the region's largest utility customers.
• Serve as Voice of Customer to Product Development with cross-functional teams.
• Advise on best practices for communication networks, RF mesh, gateway, relays, and meters.
• Analyze network health and implement optimization strategies for DR systems.
• Support on-the-ground activities to restore or maintain system performance to SLA levels.
• Escalate issues to Eaton for corrective actions to protect customer relationships.
• Coordinate with program managers on regional deployment projects.
• Manage industry and 3rd party relationships affecting key regional customers.
