Job summary

MCGARITY CONSULTING GROUP seeks an experienced Contingent OCM — LMS Transformation Lead for a proposal with a national healthcare association. You will lead change-management activities for the client’s transition to a new LMS, coordinating with an external LMS vendor to drive adoption and readiness.

The role combines strategy, project leadership, stakeholder facilitation, business-process design, communications, training, readiness assessment, and implementation support.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading organizational change for LMS or enterprise learning platforms.
• Experience with learning and training program development and LMS implementation or use.
• Proven success creating and executing stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness, and adoption plans.
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to align teams with differing priorities.
• Experience documenting workflows, roles, governance processes, and operating procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with technical implementation vendors without duplicating responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day lead for OCM activities.
• Develop and execute a practical change-management strategy and work plan.
• Apply a recognized change framework while adapting to the client’s culture and timeline.
• Facilitate discussions with executives, work groups, program teams, technical staff, and external learners.
• Develop stakeholder maps, impact assessments, readiness assessments, risk registers, and adoption plans.
• Help establish governance, decision rights, roles, responsibilities, and accountability for the client’s learning portfolio.
• Facilitate alignment among teams with different programs, audiences, funding requirements, and practices.
• Support the development of processes for free, member-based, and fee-based learning programs.
• Help define content placement across LMS vs websites, events, or other channels.
• Develop tools for prioritizing, updating, migrating, and archiving content.
• Work with the LMS vendor to define staff and learner workflows.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing activities, scenarios, and readiness findings.
• Develop internal and external communications plans for LMS transition and launch.
• Design and deliver role-based staff training, job aids, videos, checklists, and support materials.
• Prepare staff and learners for go-live and identify interventions for adoption risks.
• Support post-launch evaluation and continuous improvement.
