Job summary

Mcgarity-Consulting-Group is sourcing a contingent OCM — LMS Transformation Lead for a national healthcare association. You will lead the people, process, governance, communications, training, and adoption activities associated with the client’s transition to a new LMS.

A separate technology vendor will implement the platform and you will collaborate closely with them. This hands‑on role combines change strategy, project leadership, stakeholder facilitation, business‑process design, readiness

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading organizational change for LMS or enterprise learning platforms.
• Experience with learning/training program development and LMS implementation or use.
• Proven success creating and executing stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness, and adoption plans.
• Strong facilitation skills to align teams with differing priorities.
• Experience documenting workflows, roles, governance processes, and operating procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with technical implementation vendors without duplicating responsibilities.
• Experience planning or coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Strong project-management, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Availability through December 2026–June 30, 2027 with possible extension.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day lead for OCM activities.
• Develop and execute a practical change-management strategy and work plan.
• Apply a recognized change framework and adapt it to the client’s culture and timeline.
• Facilitate discussions with executive leaders, work groups, program teams, technical staff, and external learners.
• Develop stakeholder maps, impact assessments, readiness assessments, risk registers, and adoption plans.
• Establish governance, decision rights, roles, responsibilities, and accountability for the client’s learning portfolio.
• Coordinate alignment among teams with different programs, audiences, funding, and practices.
• Help define content to be in the LMS versus external sites or channels.
• Develop tools for prioritizing, updating, migrating, and archiving content.
• Work with the LMS vendor to define staff and learner workflows.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and readiness findings.
• Develop internal and external communications plans for LMS transition and launch.
• Design and deliver role-based staff training, job aids, videos, and support materials.
• Prepare staff and learners for go-live and identify adoption interventions.
• Support post-launch evaluation, feedback, issue prioritization, and continuous improvement.
• Transfer tools and responsibilities to client staff before engagement close.
• Maintain project documentation and provide timely status and risk reporting.
