Job summary

MCGARITY CONSULTING GROUP is sourcing a contingent OCM—LMS Transformation Lead to guide the client through the transition to a new LMS. You will lead change strategy, governance, training, and adoption, while coordinating with a separate LMS vendor.

The role focuses on hands-on change-management activities, stakeholder alignment, process design, communications, readiness assessments, and go-live support, with flexible work-from-home options.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading organizational change for an LMS or enterprise learning platform.
• Experience with learning and training program development and LMS implementation or use.
• Proven success creating stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness, and adoption plans.
• Strong facilitation skills to build alignment across teams with differing priorities.
• Experience documenting workflows, roles, governance processes, and operating procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with technical implementation vendors without duplicating technical responsibilities.
• Experience planning or coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Strong project-management, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams within a compressed implementation schedule.
• Availability from Dec 2026 to Jun 30, 2027, with potential extension.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day lead for OCM activities.
• Develop and execute a practical change-management strategy and work plan.
• Apply a recognized change framework while adapting it to the client’s culture, capacity, and timeline.
• Facilitate discussions with executives, work groups, program teams, technical staff, and external learners.
• Develop stakeholder maps, impact assessments, readiness assessments, risk registers, and adoption plans.
• Establish governance, decision rights, roles, responsibilities, and accountability for the client’s learning portfolio.
• Align teams with different programs, audiences, funding, and practices.
• Support development of learning programs for free, member-based, and fee-based formats.
• Define content placement for LMS vs other channels; migrate content as needed.
• Create tools for prioritizing, updating, consolidating, archiving, and retiring content.
• Coordinate workflows with the LMS vendor and staff/learner processes.
• Plan user acceptance testing; manage participant selection and feedback.
• Develop internal and external communications plans for LMS launch.
• Design and deliver role-based training materials and job aids.
• Prepare staff and learners for go-live and manage adoption risks.
• Support post-launch evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Transfer tools and responsibilities to client staff before close.
• Maintain project documentation and timely reporting.
