Avella Behavioral Health Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a licensed mental health counselor to provide remote clinical care full-time. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and lead individual and group therapy while coordinating with psychiatrists and other clinicians.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, dual-diagnosis experience, and proficiency with AVATAR EHR. Remote work requires strong communication, empathy, and ability to engage diverse clients across ages.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
• Successful completion of NCE and/or NCMHCE.
• Experience with evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.
• Proficiency with AVATAR EHR for documentation.
• Experience addressing dual-diagnosis clients.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document cases from intake through termination.
• Develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans based on clinical data.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers.
• Provide follow-up for transitions to/from inpatient facilities.
• Assist families and caregivers with understanding mental health needs.
