Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ needs, experiences, and goals.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patients, considering cultural backgrounds.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using diverse modalities to promote resilience.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and community resources.
• Maintain confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to share best practices.
• Pursue ongoing learning on current research and cultural considerations in mental health therapy.
