Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling required.
• Active Texas LPC licensure required.
• Minimum two years post-licensure counseling experience preferred.
• Strong trauma-informed treatment knowledge and resilience-building techniques.
• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify challenges and needs.
• Develop and update personalized treatment plans for trauma recovery and resilience.
• Utilize EMDR and TF-CBT to address trauma-related disorders.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy in hybrid setting.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses and resources.
• Maintain confidential patient documentation per legal/ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and ongoing professional development.
• Stay current with research and techniques in trauma therapy.
