Job summary

Sunshine Psychological Services seeks a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote role to provide counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups. You will assess needs, develop treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and maintain clinical documentation to monitor progress.

You will work with a diverse client population from adults to children, utilizing evidence-based techniques and offering telemedicine-enabled care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LMFT license.
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or closely related field.
• Active state license to practice psychotherapy.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in the mental health field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapy sessions across individual, couples, family, and group formats.
• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to foster resilience and coping.
• Lead parent groups addressing placement, adoption, and prenatally substance-exposed families.
