Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LMFT designation.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is essential.
• An active state license to practice therapy is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct therapy experience with a demonstrable ability to develop effective treatment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapy in individual, couples, family, and group sessions, ensuring that each therapeutic approach is matched to the needs of the client.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and feedback, while documenting all clinical interactions meticulously in our electronic health records system.
• Facilitate support groups for parents and caregivers, particularly focusing on the issues faced by families with adopted children or those exposed to prenatal substance abuse.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make informed in-house referrals as needed for additional services or resources.
