Job summary

Mentalzon is seeking licensed LMFTs to join a remote, flexible, independent practice. You’ll provide individual, couples, and family therapy via secure telehealth, set your own fees, and manage payments directly with clients.

You’ll control your schedule and caseload, benefit from platform support for profile visibility, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation while delivering relational, systemic therapy from anywhere in the US where you hold licensure.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active LMFT license in at least one US state.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (COAMFTE-accredited) or equivalent.
• Post-licensure clinical experience with individuals, couples, and families.
• Proficiency with HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms and secure communication; familiarity with EHR is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state telehealth laws; adherence to AAMFT Code of Ethics.
• Maintain active professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide online systemic therapy via secure video conferencing.
• Maintain confidential clinical records reflecting a systemic perspective.
• Uphold ethical standards per AAMFT Code of Ethics and applicable laws.
• Manage client communications, scheduling, and articulate fees and policies.
• Set and manage your professional fees and billing directly with clients.
