Job summary

Holland & Hart LLP seeks a diligent Litigation Docketing Specialist to support multi-jurisdictional docketing nationwide, with emphasis on New Mexico courts. You will enter deadlines, review filings, and verify deadlines while collaborating with case teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

A strong knowledge of NM rules and Civil Procedure is essential. The role starts hybrid during onboarding and moves toward a primarily remote schedule, with occasional in-office days depending on business

Qualifications

• Two or more years of litigation docketing, calendaring and civil procedure experience.
• Knowledge of court websites, litigation procedures, docket searching and document retrieval databases.
• Proven aptitude to learn new software applications.
• Ability to read legal documents and identify future deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of New Mexico state and federal court rules/procedures.
• Ability to learn and retain new information quickly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the firm.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong analytical, data entry, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Make entries of litigation deadlines into the docketing database following procedures.
• Review filed documents to ensure all deadlines are identified and docketed.
• Perform research to verify applicability of deadlines.
• Communicate with case teams to gather information for accurate docketing.
• Handle inquiries from case teams in a timely manner.
• Monitor team inboxes for court filings and document receipts.
• Distribute documents using various online resources as requested.
• Support multiple projects assigned by the Docketing Manager or seniors.
• Maintain litigation docketing team protocols.
• Demonstrate flexibility and commitment to firm objectives.
