Job summary

ServiceTitan is seeking a Legal Counsel, Litigation to manage disputes and streamline litigation-related processes. The role reports to the Associate General Counsel (Employment & Litigation) and involves front-line handling of commercial disputes, complex litigation, and third-party subpoenas.

Remote role with collaboration across Pacific Time teams, supporting various litigation matters and employment-related matters in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience as a practicing litigation attorney.
• Experience at a top-tier law firm.
• Experience managing a docket of commercial disputes, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and settlement negotiation.
• Experience defending complex litigation and class actions.
• Excellent legal writing and drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong business judgment balancing litigation risk with business priorities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and advise executives.
• Project management experience with meeting deadlines and delivering results.
• Independence and sound judgment in ambiguous situations; proactive and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a range of disputes from pre-suit through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, and trial prep, with outside counsel as needed.
• Defend complex litigation and class actions.
• Advise business leaders on dispute strategy and risk.
• Develop scalable litigation processes, playbooks, and templates.
• Provide employment-related counsel to People team and leadership.
• Coordinate subpoenas and data collection with engineering and internal teams.
