Job summary

Cleary Gottlieb is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for the U.S. Litigation practice. You will drive growth, coordinate pitches, and cross‑firm initiatives, reporting to the Senior Litigation BD Manager and collaborating with attorneys and the Global BD team.

You will lead the creation of materials, monitor market trends, and support pricing, events, and client targeting programs. A minimum of 7 years in professional services BD and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant business development experience in a professional services firm.
• Proven ability to write pitches and proposals.
• Excellent communications skills and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop pitches, RFP responses, and tailor credentials for opportunities.
• Manage directory and award submissions and align with strategic goals.
• Monitor clients, competitors, and market trends for growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with BD team on cross-selling and client targeting programs.
• Plan and attend meetings, document actions, and track progress.
