Job summary

The New York office of Lewis Brisbois, a leading AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Business Development Manager to advance the firm’s litigation practices, with emphasis on Complex Business & Commercial Litigation and the National Trial Team.

You will collaborate with practice leaders to develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives, manage pitches, proposals, RFPs, and help position the firm to win new business.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in a similar BD role in a law firm or professional services firm.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue new business development opportunities, coordinate attorney teams, lead pitch efforts, and manage opportunities from concept to submission.
• Lead the development of pitches, proposals, RFP responses, and presentations.
• Conduct client, prospect, and market research to position the firm to win new business.
• Support the successful integration of lateral hires into the firm.
