Job summary

Abcam, part of Danaher, is seeking a Territory Account Manager to manage academic and biopharma accounts in Southern California, building relationships, identifying opportunities across our product portfolio, and driving revenue growth through outbound calls and site visits. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, develop account plans, and leverage CRM tools to forecast and track activities.

A life sciences degree and 2+ years of field sales are preferred; travel up to 50-75% within the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years field sales account management experience in life sciences.
• Ability to discuss antibody-based applications, proteomics, reagents and protein-based solutions with customers.
• Experience in account management or technical support within life sciences selling solutions across complex workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage select academic and biopharma accounts and build relationships.
• Generate new opportunities and drive revenue growth within the territory.
• Make outbound calls, schedule customer visits and nurture leads from marketing to opportunities.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and use CRM to manage leads, activities and opportunities.
