Pace Analytical Services is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to develop high-quality contracts and quotations for analytical testing services within a CRO environment. This role partners with technical experts and sales staff across multiple testing sites to create detailed, client-focused proposals that support business growth in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
• 3-5 years of GMP testing laboratory experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environments.
• Experience developing proposals for analytical testing services preferred.
• Equivalent experience in technical writing or scientific communications considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage proposals and client-facing documents for analytical testing programs and services.
• Collaborate with clients, management, and laboratory staff to define project scope and gather technical information.
• Translate methodologies, capabilities, timelines, and pricing into clear proposal documents.
• Draft, edit, and review proposals to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Maintain proposal templates, pricing models, and supporting documentation.
• Track proposal activities, status updates, and outcomes in internal systems.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical testing.
