Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professional to connect by phone or video with families who requested information on coverage. You’ll explain options, help complete applications, and guide families through underwriting, all while managing your own schedule.

We provide licensing assistance, access to a network of 43 carriers, exclusive lead systems, and mentorship from Ben and Andrea, plus weekly team calls and scripts for success.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Gift for explaining complicated ideas without talking down to anyone.
• Willing to learn a new regulated field from the ground up.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who requested information about life insurance.
• Listen to families’ situation, goals, and worries.
• Explain coverage options in plain language and complete the application.
• Guide applications through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
• Participate in ongoing training and updates to products and rules.
