Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professional in the United States. You’ll help families understand options and apply, from your home, on a schedule you manage.

You will call or video-chat with prospects who requested information, learn each household’s priorities, explain choices in plain language, and guide the entire application process through underwriting with ongoing CRM updates.

Qualifications

• Requires a state life insurance license or plan to obtain one before first sale.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable conducting appointments by phone and video from home office.

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who already requested life insurance information.
• Learn each household's situation and priorities before showing an option.
• Explain coverage choices in plain language, then complete the application together.
• Follow every application through underwriting and keep the family updated until a decision.
• Log each conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep up with ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules.
