The Wood Agency Life offers a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You’ll help families understand their options and apply, working from home on a schedule you manage.

You’ll call or video-chat with prospects, learn their situation, explain coverage choices in plain language, and complete applications together. A state license (or plan to obtain one) is required; licensing timelines vary by state.

Qualifications

• License to sell life insurance in the relevant state or plan to obtain one.
• Comfort with phone and video appointments from a home office.
• Ability to explain products clearly to families and guide them through steps.

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who requested information on life insurance.
• Assess each household's situation and priorities before presenting options.
• Explain coverage choices in plain language and complete applications together.
• Support through underwriting and keep families updated until a decision.
• Log conversations and next steps in the CRM as they happen.
• Attend ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules.
