Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking independent contractors for a 100% remote life insurance sales role. You will meet by phone or video with families who’ve asked about coverage, listen to their goals, and explain options clearly before guiding them through the application process.

As you work as a licensed agent, you’ll handle underwriting steps, keep families informed, and record progress in the CRM. Training and mentorship are provided, with access to exclusive leads.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly without talking down.
• Willing to manage your own schedule as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who’ve asked about life insurance.
• Understand families’ goals and concerns.
• Explain options in plain language and complete applications together.
• Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed.
