Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking driven individuals for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will speak with families who requested information, assess their needs, and guide them through the application process. Licensing support and mentorship are provided to help you succeed on your own schedule.

You’ll join a team that emphasizes ongoing learning, access to exclusive lead systems, and commission-based earnings with mentorship from agency leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Ability to explain complicated ideas clearly.
• Willing to obtain a state life insurance license before selling.
• Authorized to work in the United States (18+)

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who've already asked about life insurance.
• Listen to the family's situation, goals, and worries.
• Explain coverage options in plain language, then complete the application together.
• Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
• Keep learning as products and rules change and training continues
