Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is hiring a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professional in the United States. You will follow up with prospects, present coverage options, and guide clients through underwriting, all while managing your own schedule.

As a self-directed agent, you will learn quoting tools and a CRM, aiming to license where needed and build a client base with access to exclusive leads from multiple carriers. Compensation is commission-based with no base salary.

Qualifications

• Background in skilled trades, construction, or field service.
• Candidates must be self-directed and able to work without direct supervision.
• Must have or plan to obtain a state life insurance license before selling.
• Ability to learn quoting tools and a CRM.
• Minimum age 18 and legal work eligibility in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with information requests and set appointments by phone or video.
• Present coverage options and complete applications with the client.
• Track cases through underwriting and update clients on progress.
• Log calls and next steps in the CRM and maintain records.
