Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an experienced, results-driven life insurance sales professional to operate remotely as a 1099 independent contractor across the United States. You will manage your own pipeline of clients who have already asked about coverage, conduct discovery conversations, quote via carrier tools, and submit applications during client appointments.

You will support cases through underwriting toward issuance or closure, while maintaining clean CRM records and staying current

Qualifications

• A track record of selling where results depend on your own work.
• Self-motivated, able to work without daily direction.
• Strong follow-up habits; cases move with attention.
• A state life insurance license, or plan to get licensed before first sale.
• Comfort with web-based quoting platforms and a CRM.
• Authorized to work in the United States (18+).

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information.
• Conduct discovery conversations and match options to client needs.
• Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during client appointments.
• Chase each case through underwriting until issued or closed.
• Keep CRM records clean for accurate pipeline.
• Study carrier guidelines and state rules as they change.
